Privacy policy

This page explains what Puma Expeditions collects when you contact us or request an experience, why we need it, and how to have it removed. It describes what the website actually does today.

What we collect

When you send a request through this site, we store:

• Your name, email and WhatsApp number.
• The experience, date, number of travelers, pickup point and hotel you entered.
• Anything you wrote in the notes field.
• The price estimate you were shown, so our quote matches it.
• Your IP address and browser, to stop automated spam.
• The campaign or link that brought you here, when there is one.

We do not collect payment details on this website, and we do not ask for identity documents.

Why we need it

To reply to your request, prepare a quote, and organise the day: pickup time, vehicle, guide and any dietary or accessibility note you told us about. Without a way to contact you there is no way to answer.

If you choose to tell us about a medical condition, mobility need or allergy in the notes, you share it voluntarily and we use it for one thing only: running your activity safely. We pass to the operator only what they need to host you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Children

We ask for children's ages only to plan the day: seats, gear and which activities they can join. We never ask for a child's name or contact details, and a request or booking must always be made by an adult (18+).

Who sees it

The Puma Expeditions team. When an experience is run by a partner operator, we share only what that operator needs to host you, usually names, party size and date. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Where it lives

On servers in the United States, provided by Supabase and Vercel. Emails are delivered through Resend.

How long we keep it

Requests that never became a booking are kept for two years so we can recognise you if you come back. Booking records are kept longer because accounting requires it.

Marketing

We only send marketing email to people who explicitly asked for it. A request for a quote is not consent for marketing. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Your data

Write to info@pumaexpeditionscr.com and ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion. We answer within 30 days. If you have your reference number, include it. It makes it immediate.

Cookies

This site sets only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie for team members who log into the admin panel and, while the site runs as a private preview, one cookie that remembers you entered the preview password. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used with our own first-party analytics: the pages you visit, the link or campaign that brought you here, and, if you send a request, its reference — so we know which campaign led to a real conversation. This data stays in the same database as your request, is never shared with advertising or analytics companies, and is not used to profile you across other sites.
