Choose your half day at Aromal: a sabanero-led trail ride, or herding cattle with techniques passed down for generations.

Pick one when you arrive: saddle up for a trail ride, or work cattle alongside the sabaneros.

The ride follows wildlife-rich trails behind a traditional sabanero in full Guanacaste attire. Deer, armadillos, raccoons, and tropical birds all live along these paths.

The herding option drops you into the real thing, using techniques the sabaneros have passed down for generations. Either way, you travel from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle, with a naturalist guide covering local history and wildlife on the road.
